Weaknesses: The front forks are a piece of $!#^ I've already had two or three of the forks that I have had to re-tap or replace completely. Someone at Schwinn should of looked at the design of the nut in the forks and realized that if you tack weld a nut it will deform. I've already destroyed a couple fo the top bolts trying to put it together. Find another way of doing it.Bottom Line: Look at the design before making another chopper bike

Strengths: Great looks. really brings out the colors (mine's red) in the decals and components.Weaknesses: noneBottom Line: I had to swap this from my Schwinn because the embroidery on the SST was chafing my sit bones. I was going to buy a new saddle, but when I weighed both on the diet scale (probably a little off) the WTB was 265 grams and the Stinger Cro-Mo was 240. So I said, "Screw it, I'll use the Stinger!!" It is a little hard, but I have found that it is more comfortable that way due to it being narrower than the SST.

Strengths: Weight, strength, looks. Durability. Kevlar/Titanium, what more can you say?Weaknesses: cost for ti, but you get what you pay for.Bottom Line: I really like a seat that doesn't get shredded into a million pieces at the first 25mph crash. It washes clean everytime. As for you weenies that complain about pain, the only time the seat hurts is during spring's preseason road rides. The rest of the season I am off the seat constanly, thats mountian biking. Go buy a fat cruiser with an old lady seat you loosers. Listen close and maybe you can hear my violin playing for you.

Strengths: Looks; It's lightWeaknesses: Comfort is not a problem- you get used to it quick.Bottom Line: This seat gets more comments than the bike itself. Makes the bike much, much cooler. Chicks really dig it! But if you have problems with a stiff seat, don't get it because there ain't much padding there. Staples on bottom side seem cheap, but I've been using it for 2 years and there's no problems with it. If this one wears out I just hope I can find a replacement.

Strengths: Looks dope. Feels fine. Cheap.Weaknesses: I guess it's heavy.Bottom Line: It looks great and it's not uncomfortable. On long, 2+ mile, uphills I sometimes get a little numbness, but that's no worse than with the Bontrager seat that I replaced. Maybe that just means my old seat wasn't very good, but it is definitely acceptable when it comes to comfort.
And did I mention it looks cool?

Strengths: looks looks looks looks looks price priceWeaknesses: The staples on the bottom are a little loose but hey all sadles do that after a year of riding and wreckingBottom Line: This seat just looks really great I have a yellow frame and blue frame trim, bluue brakelevers, and blue pedals,so the seat screamed buy me buy me.it's so retro with the color and the stripes and the glitter and such but very modern with the shape. I was worried it mightbe a little slippery but it isn't at all. Alot of people say it isn't comfortable and there poor little buts hurt but hey that's life if your but hurts ride a roadbike with a fat sadle with springs. I'm very skinny so my ass always hurts a little after a two hour ride. This is the only part I've ever bought that weighs more than the part it replaced but when you ride titanium you can gain a few grams for something this damn coooooooooooool.

Extra Painful. Too wide in the middle, which causes very painful saddle rub and very sore leg/torso connection.Bottom Line: BURN THIS HEAP OF CRAP. Light don't make it right. Schwinn needs to make their designers ride these 'masterpeices' before they try to sell them to the public. The seat will be set ablaze as soon as it is replaced... Want photos?

The seat comes stock on a 99 Schwinn S-10. Just bought the bike and have ridden it 30 minutes and had to dismount because of the pain in the general buttox area. The bike rides as advertised (maybe a bit soft for my taste and size.)

If your riding, or sitingt down a lot then just buy this for the weekend rides or races. I've never put any value on superficial apperiances untill now. This seat is straight from hell and I love it. I'm still buying a better saddle tho

PainfulBottom Line: I can see from the array of opinions that that's just what they are. For me, this thing has hurt my undersides for at least 24 hours after each of the half dozen times I've ridden it. (All rides at least an hour, road and trail combined). I will attempt to retrieve the Avocet Gel I had on my last bike, or set out to buy something else like it. This Scwinn seat is really light, along with the rest of the bike, but I probably won't even ride it again until I get a different seat. Gets 2 stars because I'll bet it's more comfortable than the post alone!

-staples on the bottom?Bottom Line: This saddle is pretty cool. That is the first impression that everyone says when they see the saddle. It's sparkly, remarked one friend (hey guys, it gets the chics!). But on the technical side, the kevlars sides prevent those premature tears that cut short standard saddle life. However, the staples at the bottom of my saddle have satrted to separate. I have had the saddle for more than a year, so that's a good service life.

Bottom Line: Nice seat, durable, but is very uncomfortable even after a short ride... Personal preference certainly comes to play when purchasing a saddle, but I opted to swith out this stock saddle with a Giro Fizik instead.

Bottom Line:
This saddle rocks. It is the saddle that comes stock on several '98 schwinn bikes, but I bought it from my dealer. It is just long enough that you feels like a Flite, yet it is cushiony and smooth looking. It is available in several glittery colors and Ti rails or Cro-mo rails. Great seat fro the money as that it is very comfortable. The Kevlar edges are nice too.
