Gets a lot of stares | | Weaknesses: | From long wear-and-tear, the stiching around the fabric in in center of the saddle wore off and actually started to hurt. Besides the stiching wearing out, the sides of the seat where your legs constantly rub from the round motion of your pedal strokes wore a bit as well and got small cracks in the leather.

Same thing as the Race Day just minus Kevlar sides. Works well with my skinny @$$ and was a BIG improvement over my SDG Ventura. Like the shorter nose on it (great for bumpy singletrack and less of a chance of getting smacked in the package when riding standing), the extended down sides nicely cover the rails eliminating any posibility of rub, and its good and light (240g). I think its the middle gel part, because I started hurting badly in certain parts. Waste of my money and I wouldn't recommend it,but everybody is different in their comfort. Just gathering dust, I prefer Specialized's Body Geometry saddles and Giro's Vitesse.I am never totally satisfied with saddles so my next bike will be a recumbent so I can bike in comfort and speed.Sometimes a saddle may feel great at first but than hurt later on, I really hate that.I agree totally with the ones that say it hurts. | Overall Rating: |

Specialized FSR | | Bottom Line: | I rode the Paola Paezzo / Sella San Marco Bontrager RaceDay saddle, same one different colors: Ow ow ow. Holy heaven I have never had pain like this saddle gave me. It was very cushy for about twenty minutes, then I paid for it for A WEEK. A week!This saddle is very easy to get off the back of; however, dont try to do any road training on it (i.e. SIT on it) or any cross country rides. Its too narrow to perch your sit bones on. Switched to a Serfas Dual Density ARC on reccomendation from a chat site; just as easy to get behind, and actually supports the BONES in my seat. Here's a gossip bit: on one chat site I saw, Juli Furtado (?) popped up explaining that she pulled her name from the saddle since it was so uncomfortable. Fact or fiction? liked this saddle for the first 3 months I started riding - great for downhilling given the narrow backend. After getting stronger and riding for longer distances I've discovered it's not as comfortable after all. The seam around the gel portion seems to rub - can you say blisters. i'm not the only woman to have this problem - i know others that quickly switched to another seat after a 3+hour ride on this. If your not in the saddle for a long time very often, and/or your riding is mostly downhill - then it's great. But XC riders might be wise to steer away from this flashy seat. | Overall Rating: |

This saddle is an absolute life-saver!!! After years of riding with my husband, and suffering immeasurably, the first ride with this saddle was completely pain-free. The first time that I saw this seat I thought it was the ugliest thing I had ever seen. But after riding the seat that came with my bike and suffering through many uncomfortable rides, I decided that I could deal with the color if it meant that I would be more comfortable riding. This saddle is way too narrow in the rear to be comfortable for a woman's anatomy. It's got the very same rear shape as the men's Bontrager and I suspect it is is the same saddle just with a shorter nose with a hole in it. Also the price is way too high. For $80 bucks you should be getting ti-rails NOT cromoly! Guy's can buy ti-kevlar Flites for $65 so why do they charge woman soo much for this saddle? This seat is totally awesome. It is so gentle on my pooter, I can't imagine my life (sex, love, or otherwise) without it, and yes, my male friend is writing this for me.But seriously, I love this seat. It makes the long rides seem much shorter. Due to the increased comfort, I find I can ride faster and longer than with a traditional (read: designed for men) saddle. This saddle was not the most comfortable saddle I've ever ridden. It's built for women who are narrowly built through the hips (and I don't mean in contrast of overweight women - I mean in contrast to women who have a wider bone structure!) I posted an earlier note with a less than complimentary review, and that note, along with a few other not so positive reviews of the saddle have mysteriously disappeared from this board. I've ridden my share of saddle: road and off-road, and this by far is the best saddle I have every laid my bottom on. Although not bulky, the cushioning is superb and the comfort excellent. It is well worth the expense, and should be mandatory on any woman's bike.Husbands,SO's: If you're trying to get your wive/girlfriends into riding get them this seat. I bought this with some hesitance that an $80 seat would really give me
$80 worth of cush. After one technical descent I was convinced that it
was well worth the money I had spent. I had used the Terry prior to this
saddle and the Julie seat was a hundred times better! I can ride on this

a bit expensive, the color is obnoxious, but the ride is nice. Have only had it for less than a month, but is the most comfortable women's seat that I've tried. Had a couple of women's saddles, the previous was a Terry mountain saddle. This is the best saddle ever. For $90, you'll get a saddle that will make long,
bumpy rides almost as comfortable as pavement. With just enough padding,
without going overboard, there is nothing this saddle doesn't offer. With
kevlar protection, this seat is pretty, too. Yellow, black and red make it
a great addition to any bike. Women will enjoy the great padded protection
this saddle offers on long rides. You would never know you've been riding
four hours after dismounting. It does sound a little expensive, but it's
well worth it. With tubular cro-moly rails and a great no-slip system, there
is positively no reason any women shouldn't make the investment. I wouldn't
