Favorite Trail:Sourdough
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $8.00
Purchased At:mtbr classifieds
Strengths:Non-slippery, fairly light
Weaknesses:Everything else
Similar Products Used:WTB SST.K
Bike Setup:Haro A2 frame, Turbine LP w/ SRX BB, XTR F/R Der., Casette,R Hub, XT shifters, Titec appendages, Mavic 517 rims.
Bottom Line:I loved my WTB saddle dearly, but time has taken its toll and there was harly any seat to seat on. After I blew my monely upgrading most of my bike parts, I decided to save a little on a saddle and went scourin the classifieds. Found a good deal on this, can't beat $8, so I bought it. First off, I had one hell of a time getting this thing to fit my titec ti seat post clamp. I finally got to ride, and was at first pleasanlty surprised with how planted my a$$ was, the non slip "system" does its job. I, also, immediattely felt uncomfortable on the saddle, however, I figured I just need to get used to it. I took it out on a fairly rigorous trail, very rocky and bumpy and after about 6 miles my a$$ was so numb I couldn't feel it was there. I rested a few days, my butt was SORE, and gave it a shot again. This time on a road. I managed about 15 miles and decided to throw this piece of junk away. Stay away.

THIS SADDLE SUX!!!!!!
DONT BUY IT. Mine came with my proflex beast and its the only thing I dont like about the bike. After a couple of weeks the saddle starts to squeak like a pig, and when its wet its as slippery as ice(I've got the version without the grippy embroidery). To make things worse it comes with no side protection whatsoever which is really stupid considering its made for mountain bikes, the leather just gets ripped to shreds

Bottom Line:

The Techno Dynamica is the most comfortable saddle I've found. Previous saddles have included Vetta Trishock (second favorite saddle), Vetta Transverse, Avocet O2, Selle San Marco suspension. By comparison, the padding on Techno Dynamica is plush, but resilient. The saddle seems to have good give and seems to be to be similar to the Trishock. The saddle is reasonably light, 260 grams and lower priced than other San Marco saddles. I ride the version without stitching and haven't heard any noises as indicated in a previous post.

I have a narrow hynie, but this saddle didn't do it for me. I replaced it with a Max Flite. Now I'm sitting pretty.

Bottom Line:

Squeak, squeak, squeak ... slip ... squeak, squeak ... slip ... damn.
You have just been listening to the sound of the Selle San Marco Dynamica Saddle.
The 'squeak' part is the sound of the 'dynamica' suspension. Kinda embarrasing when riding
with others.
The 'slip' part is the sound of your knicks/shorts/tights falling around your ankles.
Some guy at Selle decided that what the cycling world needed was a stickier saddle.
Fine. What we also need is superglue for our knicks. Twice I have nearly come unstuck
on two flights of stairs when the shorts I was wearing became caught around the nose
of the saddle with the extra friction. Unless you plan on keeping your butt in the
same place all the way through a ride, consider something else.
Mine is going back to the bike store. It gets a 'two' because it's okay to sit on.

Bottom Line:

this product is the pits man. i'm riding on a full suspension y-22 and this seat's probably the worst thing fitted on the bike. the things so hard just after two days of riding i think i'm gonna go impotent. some squiggly words on it say it provides grip yeah right. it's like sitting on a damn jagged rock and u can't find a comfprtable position to place yourself. i think the only reason this damn seat came with the bike was cos logically no one would buy one seperately.

Bottom Line:

Great looking saddle with the embriode (sp?) wordings on it that provide extra
grip on your buttock.
There's some kind of suspension technology involve but I can't really say what.
