Light saddle with stylish embroidery to keep you rear from sliding around.
Weaknesses:
Rear cutout puts a hard seam right in your undercarriage. Adjustment system doesn't seem to do anything useful.

Bottom Line:
Most uncomfortable saddle ever. The wide U-shaped cutout at the rear of the seat puts a hard seam right between your legs. After a dozen miles you'll swear it's cutting you in half. You can't find relief by riding more forward because of the rigid sides of the depression that is suppose to take pressure off of your nerves. After a few days it is less painful to ride, provided you keep on riding and don't let your calluses fade away.

Easily, hands down the most comfy saddle my ass has had the pleasure of smelling up. All my previous saddles made my dickie go numb w/in 20 miles. Takes over 30 for that to happen now. Certainly makes riding more comfortable. Nice narrow rear makes getting off nice 'n easy. Great saddle, Ti rails seem to be holding up quite nicely under my 215lbs carcass. Great seat. Go buy one. You'll for sure like it too.

Comfortable, no numbness like I had from other seats. Quiet no noise, adjustment works well on my boney but.
Weaknesses:
You have to play with the seat to get it to fit. But once you figure out what works for you it will be the last seat you ever own. I bought at the same time the Salsa seatpost which made adjustments a breeze. I keep the seat tight and have never heard a creak.

Titanium Rails, dont ask why but other saddles' rails always friggin bend on me. Tension adjuster is cool, nice and quick to adjust, even while riding. Nice embroidery.
Weaknesses:
Creaks a little, nothing crazy though.
Bottom Line:
Phat saddle. I had a selle italia once... i dunno, cost me 100 bucks and it sucked, rails bent and selle italia were all "to bad" about it. B@stards. Dunno about Salsa customer service but all their products are pretty cool. And when I e-mailed them with a question once they were pretty friendly guys. Ti rails adds one to the coolness factor. Narrow seat makes it easy to take a leak while riding, but if you have a big arse or somethin you might not like it. Good seat.

One of the seat's rails broke on the first lap of three in a race for no apparent reason. I am pretty light and somewhat smooth so i could not believe it broke. I blame saddle. Also the seat's rail stiffness adjuster rusts in less than a month. Also, seat's leather fades and loses smoothness too quickly. It was nice while it lasted but I would not recommend buying one with the Ti rails.

Could not get to work for me due to the hardness of the saddle and my boney bottom(not much padding in the saddle too). I can't ride seated 5 minutes without having to standup for some relief!! I am replacing the thing before next cx season. Just hope the new saddle will fit a Salsa seat post(it's a little different too)

I was using a Specialized saddle from my old Stumjumper until a crash bent the rails. Thank god because I wouldn't have bought the Salsa unless the other one died. Great saddle for me. It sets up easily with my Kore post, so no problems like the guy with the Thompson post. Because this saddle is so comfortable, has been very durable to this point, and looks pretty cool too, I give it 5 defocated bloody suppositories.

Saves Mr. Bo-Jangles adjustment system is effective at changing the stiffness
Weaknesses:
1.The adjustment on the nose creeks continuously causing rider insanity, even after applying tri-flow. 2.Rails are at a strange angle, making this saddle incompatible with thompson posts unless you like riding with the nose high. 3.construction is crappy. The plastic piece under the nose is already falling off mine(held in place with a small self-tapping screw) and the saddle seems to be losing it's shape in the nose region. 3.heavy
