POS. | | Similar Products Used: | Flite Titanium, LeMond Titanium. | | Bike Setup: | Eldridge Grade. | | Bottom Line: | The WTB saddle that came with my Marin absolutely stunk. It broke in three months (the rails hopelessly collapsed). | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

Everyone on this site thinks it sucks. I dont and my mates dont either. I have a 99 shoreline (cool bike *****) every body who rides it says how comfy it is. Maybe the 99 saddle is diffrent i dont know but mine is cool. | Overall Rating: |

I have a Rocky Ridge, model year 96'. when i bought the bike, i was very pleased whith it ( and still is ), but i couldnt' adjust the Marin Lite saddle, and had a very sore butt, after only half and hour of riding. i tried everything - with no result ! Eventually i changed it to a Vetta TI, and havent had a monkey butt since... The dealer were i bought the bike wouldnt give me a refund on the Marin saddle..... | Overall Rating: |

I bought a 2nd hand Marin which came with a Marin Lite saddle and boy did the seat suck BIG TIME. It gives you such a sore butt that few other seats can achieve and to think that I've been dumb enough to survive about 940km with it. If only there was a no star rating.... | Overall Rating: |

I bought my 95 Nail Trail second hand, after first checking ownership. What a purchase, it's a great bike, pitty they cost so much in the UK. The only change I recommend is a change of saddle, I've fitted a Brooks Swift, a real cool saddle! This bike rides so well, it's easier going than my road bike. | Overall Rating: |

I have to race away from the soldiers with their AK 47's shooting at me and when I'm going 60 miles per hour on dirt road with bumps, I get so soar I can't sit down for 6 hours. That is why I got a much better one. This saddle gives you severe monkey butt. | Overall Rating: |

Nice and lite but is about a comftable as slipping down a 30 foot razor blade, using your balls as brake, landing in a bath full of TPC (Antispectic liquid that kills)

A lousy saddle that isn't comforatable to sit on. Even with titanium rails, I still bent it out of shape and I wasn't even downhilling! | Overall Rating: |

Marin Lite saddle, 1995 model.
Bad: Not very comfortable. However, your comfort may vary.
Other: This review only applies to the 1995 model Marin Lite saddle, which was found on Marin bikes that year. The 1994 model was different, and the 1996 Marin bikes come with a different saddle.
It is lighter than big saddles like the Avocet GelFlex, but heavier than the San Marco Bontrager. | Overall Rating: |
