The Fi'zi:k Arione has earned a place as one of the consummate, go-to racing saddles of the modern era. It's a perfect example of a flat "bench" style saddle, giving the rider a level platform to slide fore and aft for many equally comfortable riding positions.

Strengths: Fizik makes some great saddles. The Arione is no exception. It is a curved saddle and fairly stiff with a very thin "nose" up front. The material seems good and repels water fairly well. I have done six centuries plus daily rides on this saddle and it shows no wear. I find I can ride fairly comfortably for app. 3+ hours before I start feeling the need to stand or stop. I've considered it for the mountain bike, but the curved shape (rather than the more flat styles) might be an issue for some. I would consider the saddle a racing type saddle that offers little cush, but a lot of support. Best suggested for those preferring efficiency and performance. Worth the money!
Weaknesses: The weaknesses of the saddle would be determined by the expectation of the user and the expected use of the saddle. This a race saddle and so offers very little creature comforts that are often needed/desired by recreational riders.
Bottom Line:
Good saddle with a very good weight ratio that can be used for longer rides.
