Strengths:
This saddle by far is the best out there for endurance racing, comfort in the right spots, not to heavy and great nose for climbing.
Weaknesses:
Could be a little lighter, but after 12 hrs who cares!!
Similar Products Used:
Road the Gobi for years, almost equal in weight, with better long term comfort.12-24 hr rides
Bike Setup:
Cannondale Monavie Team Scalpel, Stans and Sram XO,FSR Bar and Margura Brakes with Scrub rotors... and Fizik..
Bottom Line:
When we got the chance to try the new XM, it didnt take but a few rides after yrs on the Gobi to feel at home and more comfort for the long days in the saddle. If your worried about cost, your not in the saddle enough. I have the carbon on the road bike now...Fizik did it again, great saddles, for a company that has been around a short time compared to others, but dominates the saddle business by far with weith durability and comfort..

Quality, comfort, comfort, scuff guards, no channels great Twin-Flex system. Better than Gobi, and that was a great saddle.
Weaknesses:
Mine with 1 year start to peeling off the back os the cover, but is a wear issue, normal!!
Similar Products Used:
Selle Italia Flite, WTB Pure V Stealth, Fizik Gobi
This was my favorite saddle so far, great for pedaling (way better than WTB Pure V but worst than Gobi), fantastic comfort (better than Pure V and Gobi).
If they make with Braided Carbon rails I bought ONE!!!

Strengths:
Comfort, comfort, finishing, numbness proof and comfort!
Weaknesses:
For me it is not the nicest looking saddle and it isn't lightweight but this weaknesses, small stuff considering the comfort!
Similar Products Used:
WTB Devo, Selle SMP Glider, Selle Italia Signo Gel Flow
I don't really like to write reviews since i'm no expert on bikes but this one i had to write because this saddle is something out of the ordinary, i never thought that such comfort could be achieved in a saddle and it also worked out another problem that i had that was numbness, i never felt any numbness whatsoever and the comfort is out of this world, regarding comfort it is the most similar thing to a sofa that you can fit on a seatpost!
P.S. - This review is not really for the XM Gamma but the previous version with ti rails!

Strengths:
Well its a saddle, it works. I read about them in a mag first then looked a few over in the shop. Seemed to be well constructed and had nice protection on the back edges for when you drop it. Primary reason for choosing this was for >6 hr marathon events.
Weaknesses:
Its not in the ultra light category but then it aint no plank to sit on
Similar Products Used:
WTB and the prologo (plank)
Bike Setup:
merida 96, XTR wheels and CF Ritchy bars/stem/headset
Bottom Line:
Much improved in the comfort department from previous saddles. I put this on 2 days before a 110km ride and was anxious that it might be a big mistake in the making. But after installing and two minor adjustments it was all set and rides well. No complaints on this one.

Strengths:
Very Cush, gel in all the right spots but not too mushy. Great connection to the bike.
Weaknesses:
None so far, but the raised back might cause problems for some.
Similar Products Used:
Specialized Alias, Phenom, etc.
Bike Setup:
'06 Cannondale Scalpel with all the fixin's.
Bottom Line:
Great saddle! I just got it and it is amazing what a difference it makes over my old one. I was riding an alias and I might as well have been riding a 2x2 compared to this. There's definitely some tweaking that needs to happen with this saddle and I'm still breaking it in, but in the short time I've ridden the Alliante it is the best I've felt on a mountain bike.
