Mount the Brooks Colt Saddle to your favorite mountain, road, or city bike, climb aboard, and settle in like it had never been discontinued. The Colt -while popular in the 70s and 80s -disappeared around the turn of the century. Brooks are re-releasing it, in a variety of colors, just in time for the one you bought 30 years ago to need replacing.

Strengths: Great comfort, especially when broken in.
Weaknesses: Slightly heavier than "standard" plastice saddles. Definitely heavier than the latest silly light breed. Definitely more of a racer saddle than the B-17.
Bottom Line:
Typicall of all Brooks saddles, this is a love em' or hate em' item. I loved this saddle so much more than any plastic unit. Only mistake I made was using too much Proofide. It now has too much support in the wrong ares. Ouch. My own fault too. Don't use too much! Use it sparingly. The saddle will wonderfull and get better with age.
