Date Reviewed: May 4, 2008
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $50.00
Strengths:Well made, durable and very comfortable
Weaknesses:None found
Similar Products Used:Bontrager sport and other models
Bike Setup:Hifi
Bottom Line:Bought this to replace the stock Bontrager seat. Had it over 16 months and ridden over 3000 miles on it, including a few whole day 80 mile rides. The seat is well padded without being excessive, very well made and takes the knocks. The leather shows no sign of wear and the kevlar edges are well positioned for further protection to the seat.

Competitively priced and overall a great product.

Date Reviewed: December 3, 2006
Favorite Trail:Noble Canyon
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $50.00
Purchased At:Beyond Bikes
Strengths:A leather/kevlar saddle that's cushy and plushy. Kevlar on the critical wearpoints; nose and back. The boys are happy!
Weaknesses:Rails could be titanium, instead of Cromoly. But, not really an issue at this point. "Block 8" silkscreening on the front kevlar area wears off quickly.
Similar Products Used:Azonic Love Seat, WTB Laser, etc.
Bike Setup:Santa Cruz VP-Free, Marz 888, Nevegals, Hayes 8", RaceFace cranks and bar, XT/XTR, Thomson, SRAM, etc...
Bottom Line:Great "control-able" freeride/DH saddle! Padded in the right places. Takes abuse. Able to get behind it on the descents, and comfortable on the nose in climbing mode. Not "crazy-wide", and not "stupid-narrow"!
