The cups were worn down og the bearing were gone too. Its still works though, but it is only a matter of time before it must go, I cannot tolerate crappy stuff on my bike :-) | | Similar Products Used: | Different generic ones. | | Bike Setup: | Klein, XTR/XT, Marz. Risers | | Bottom Line: | This headset is a piece of crap. I tried to take it apart, it went bang, and half the bloody threads stripped out. Also in about 3 months the bearings wore away to nothing. And it rocks.

Barricuda frame with Xt groupset
Z1 bams | | Bottom Line: | Absolulely reliable. It never let me down and it has survived a lot, unlike my mavic rims, and the weight is very competetive.
