Truvativ Team Flatbar Handlebar

5/5 (3 Reviews)
Weight : 149 grams MSRP : $34.99

Product Description

Our lightest cross-country handlebar is cold-drawn triple-butted AL-7050-TV alloy, the same high-strength material used in Truvativ's Stylo and Holzfeller high-end racing cranksets. The same properties that make AL-7050-TV the ideal choice for lightweight but extremely strong cranksets also makes it ideal for our handlebars. This material makes a bar significantly lighter than other alloys yet at the same time stronger and more fatigue resistant. In other words, perfect for your handlebars. The Flatbar has a 5-degree backsweep, 580mm width, and a 25.4mm bar clamp diameter. Bead blast polished anodized finish.

Strengths:    STRONG. Light. Nice and neat design.

Weaknesses:    None.

Bottom Line:
I play downhill on a hardtail with it as well. Because originally I decided to play xc, so my bar has been cut shorter, which makes it not so comfortable and less stable during dh. But it's super light and very good value for money. Good for those who loves xc, tarmac or uphill cycling. Bad for dh of course, looking forward into getting the Truvativ Team rider.
