Its ridiculously strong and still light enough for my race bike. Really stiff when you starting yanking on it to get up a nasty hill.
Weaknesses:
Nothing really. When I mounted my race plate the "hellbent" decal showed wear from the zip ties. Might be a little narrow for single speeding.

Perfect blend of sweep, width and rise. Both my hardtail, and my full suspension bike have these bars. I have yet to find another bar that feels as comfortable in my hands. I bought my first HellBent years ago, and have run the same model on every bike I've had since. I've tried other bars in the past, but always ended up going back to the HellBents.

This bar is very comfortable, they got the sweep/rise angles just right. Combined with a 100mm stem, it is the perfect position for singletrack downhills, as well as very technical/boulder sections. Very in-control feel.
Also seems to be very strong - I weigh 200 lb with pack, and have been pounding it on the roughest trails I can find, as well as stairs and the occasional 3' drop, for over 2 years
Weaknesses:
My riding style has become more aggressive since buying this bar, in part due to the confidence-inspriring hand positioning. The light weight didn't bother me at first, but now having a sub-200g riser bar makes me just a little nervous (not a single problem with durability though)

Bottom Line:
Maybe this bar is not adequate for abusive free-ride types, but it has been very durable under my abuse (and the other reviews tend to agree). This seems to be the strongest bar under 200g, and probably ranks with the strongest in the 250g range. Not bad at all for the $65 I paid, and incredible if you can get a better deal.

I think this bar is good for XC riding, but I kind of prefer more bend like the Hell-Bent. I am kind of an XC rider but I do a bit of freeride so thats maybe why I prefer more bend. Buy it if the amount of bent is suitable for you. Change to a bent bar if you have a flat bar.
Some people say it is not strong at NSMB but I don't think it is strong. I think people on the NSMB are really rough riders. I am not really rough. I guess you'll just have to try it but get just the Hell-Bent if you are a freerider.

It's a reeally good bar for the price and it in my opinion outdoes my far more expensive Easton Ea50 that i originally had. It has a nice low rise set up thats more comfortable than a flat and gives the control of a riser, with a shortish Titec stem to go with it it gives a good ride possition. Its a great bar and pretty cheap.
