Came w/ my Spec. Epic
Strengths:
Light weight, comfortable, sharp looks, durable, with good width and angle.
Weaknesses:
No problems for cross-country and trail bike riders (not durable enough for Freeriders). Although it would be a good idea for Specialized to put a warning about bar-end use, as the ends of the bar are VERY thin.
Similar Products Used:
Easton carbon bars.
Bike Setup:
2007 Specialized Stumpjumper Pro frame w/ most parts borrowed from 2004 Specialized S-works Epic Disc.
Bottom Line:
Great handlebar, and it really held up whell. But my recent installation of Ergon R2 Magnesium bar-ends was too much for the bar, and the right end cracked. Nobody's fault but mine. I should have checked the thickness of the bar before installing the bar-ends.

Strengths:
Stiff, strong bar lightweight bar that dampens ride vibration very well.
Weaknesses:
None yet.
Bike Setup:
Stumpy Pro, Full XTR build, FSA seatpost, saddle, and stem. Crossmas SL wheels with Maxxis crossmark UST.
Bottom Line:
Changing to carbon has been the best thing I have done aside from putting on the Crossmax SL's. The bar is stiff but very light and takes the vibration out of crosscountry riding. The bar costs about the same as other carbon bars so I stuck with Specialized as I liked the geometry. I can say I have been nothing but pleased.
