Strengths: cheeeep! liiiight! stroooong!Weaknesses: my friends make fun of me for being so...price consciousBottom Line: this is the best deal i ever got on new stuff.
bars & stem for $20?
300g total weight?
i went to pricepoint to check their price on monkeylites & to see if theyd match jensonusas price. planned to buy a carbon bar to start the new year & i saw their $20 "combo deal" on a 25.4 sette vector straight bar w/venn stem. noticed the weight & figgered @ that price, even if it turned out to be crap, no big loss.
man, what a great surprise!
i fool around on sum rough trails, dont avoid big drops, & ride down the(i admit it, they are low risers)steps at my work. these things should have broke already. cheap aluminum? guess what? 6+ wks of pretty hard abuse so far & like new! ive spent lots of money working to keep my ol' bike light & strong, now i know i can save on bars & stems.
btw, did i mention these things are incredibly light?

Strengths: PriceWeaknesses: None so far.Bottom Line: I have put in about 25 rides on this bar and probably average one good hard wreck per ride. The bar has held up fine. No flex or anything that would make me suspect weakness. Looks good. Dirt Cheap.
