Submitted by Carl Leist a Racer from Canal Winchester
Date Reviewed: July 26, 2003
Favorite Trail:Caesar's Creek
Duration Product Used:2 Years
Purchased At:Cyclist Connection
Strengths:Light as heck, feel great on technical trails, good with abuse
Weaknesses:not the best for more than 25 miles or about 2-hours of riding simply because of how few degrees the bars are turned back they become uncomfortable on wrist
Similar Products Used:Raceface flat bars and Bontrager race lites
Bike Setup:Trek Fuel 90 and now a Cove Stiffee FR, both tricked out for lightweight cross-country
Bottom Line:If you're looking for a good set of bars to race XC with, then I don't think there is anything better. But I do mean race; these bars aren't to comfy nor ideal for a trailbike or cross training. When racing, the shallow bend makes them very responsive for technical handling and graceful maneuvering. These bars also take alot of abuse. I race XC, but do alott of freeride with my other bike, so I sometimes get carried away with my xc bike and yet it takes it with ease. Bravo RooX
