Favorite Trail:Anything fast
Duration Product Used:6 months
Price Paid: $120.00
Purchased At:www.bike-discount.de
Strengths:Very light and strong handlebar with excellent vibration damping. Looks are awesome!
Weaknesses:None
Similar Products Used:FSA
Bike Setup:Trek 9.8 OCLV 110 carbon frame, Chris King Headset + BB, Spinergy Xyclone, Ritchey WCS carbon, XTR 08
Bottom Line:I have the handlebar mounted on my XC bike and it looks absolutely cool. The width (660mm) added much more control and confident to my bike, resulting in faster racing.

The handlebar is mounted together with Ricthey 4-axis carbon stem. Now this is one sweet set of cockpit. Fantastic looks and super stiff.

BTW - I did some serious crashing with this bar and is still going strong.

Highly recommended!

Favorite Trail:XC + Downhill
Duration Product Used:3 months
Strengths:Excellent shape, look, feel and weight
Weaknesses:As with any carbon, you have to be carefull how much to tight the screws on it. But it should be reinforced enough on particulate places.
The instant weeknes is that my stock stem looks like a scrap next to this handlebar and to replace it with adequate stem would cost me just further money.
Similar Products Used:Just stock aloy handlebars
Bike Setup:Trek 8500, model year 2007
The handlebar swap is a part of replacement of most of the Bontrager's parts on it.
Bottom Line:I am used to wide hold in downhill and bar ends for uphill. For such combination this handlebar is unbeateble, plus the low rizer shape doesn't look inappropriate on the XC bike.
If you on the other hand belongs to those who tends to have the handlebar so short to place just shifter/lever clamp and grip on it, than run away from here.
I am giving 4 chilis for a value, because its quite expensive but overall its definitely 5.
