Date Reviewed: April 9, 2001
Duration Product Used:6 months
Price Paid: $25.00
Purchased At:The internet
Strengths:-Decent sweep and rise
-Nice width
-Looks nice,but...
Weaknesses:-Too light(as in fragile...bent on a flight of stairs)
-Some flex..
Similar Products Used:Titec Hellbent,Azonic Doublewall,flat bars
Bike Setup:Surly 1x1
Bottom Line:Decent bars,I guess...but they bend. They're more suited to XC than the insane beatings I was subjecting them to.If you ride mildly technical XC,these are for you.For aggressive applications GET SOMETHIN' STRONGER!!

Date Reviewed: March 13, 2001
Duration Product Used:3 months
Strengths:Lighter weight, 27" wide, 7075-T6 riser bar, comfortable geometry.
Weaknesses:None
Similar Products Used:Answer, Azonic, Profile, Easton
Bike Setup:'01 Bullit, XT/XTR drivetrain, Hayes hydraulic brakes, WTB LaserDisc DH wheels, WTB Momentum headset, WTB MotoRaptor 2.4 DS tires, Koski Bar, Stem, and Saddle, '00 Marzocchi Mr.T
Bottom Line:The bars are GREAT! The 12° backsweep with the 5° upsweep allows for the perfect positioning with a 27" wide bar. They are very stiff, and are a good looking. Aside from the drivetrain and brakes, its an all California company bike. These bars are perfect for the "Freeride" type who has a longish travel bike that can be ridden uphill. They aren't as burley (heavy) as the Koski DH bars I have, but have the same geometry. If you are in need of a bar upgrade I would consider seriously these Koski XC Pro Gold Edition bars.
