I was a little worried about it at first (costing all of five bucks) but over the past year it has proved itself rock-solid and I felt completely safe rocketing down the punishing trails at Moab last spring. The black markings at the center make it easy to correctly align the bar inside the stem. All my hardware mounted easily and never slipped.
