Bottom Line:
They're quite good for downhilling only on wide, open tracksand preferentially for someone with long arms. Hence if you are a dwarf who rides cross country on single tracks these bars are not for you. After measuring them for length I realised why I kept clipping trees. They are over 4 cms wider than the bars I have been using (Azonic dh risers). 4 cms might not sound like much but it definitely cost me a race when I clipped a tree right on the end of the bar. The azonics are perfect for me so I'm cutting the Kore's down by 3 cms Then they should be fine (but then again I'm not a dwarf and I've got another bike for XC).So for now they get 2 / 5

Bottom Line:

This bar is a must for people who want the riser bar setup but want all the space they can get. It's a good, solid bar but it's heavy. It's around 400grams so that quite a hefty bar. I dunno...people say it looks stupid but i think it looks better then all the rest (besides those cool carbon/kev weave stuff)
Get one if you can get it cheap. BUT DON'T BUT THE ELITE VERTSION! Kore has them on recall...they are prone to breaking!you pal,
anark
