Product Description

For over five years, Enve has been re-engineering the face of carbon design. Not so long ago, it was feared that carbon was too delicate for any meaningful application in mountain biking. However, the Enve Mountain Sweep Bar exposes this notion as a mere rumor. More than just a technical carbon design, the Mountain Sweep Bar has an exceptional shape and a sophisticated laminate. The Mountain Bar's high-vibration absorbency will make those miles of rock-strewn dirt ahead of you much more comfortable. The Enve Mountain Sweep Bar is developed by riders for riders. Utilizing extensive feedback from the trail, the Sweep Bar design represents a perfect equilibrium between weight and strength. A mere 175 grams of impeccable carbon, the Sweep Bar is light enough for big climbs, yet durable enough for catching big air. At the same time, the trimmable 27.5-inch-wide bar stance provides flexible comfort in the dirt, and the nine degree rearward sweep keeps your wrists in a relaxed, neutral position. The Enve Mountain Sweep Bar is available in a 27.5 inch width. The Sweep Bar features a nine degree sweep and zero rise. This bar is available in the color Black, and is only compatible with 31.8mm clamp diameter stems. Every Sweep Bar is handmade in the USA.

Strengths:    Beautiful even finish. Very solid feel for such a light bar.

Weaknesses:    Could use a couple more degrees of sweep.

Bottom Line:
First time I've had a flat bar in about 10 years. Really like the width. Personally 11º would have been spot on for sweep but the 9º isn't bad. They have just the right amount of dampening. I'm pleasantly surprised by these bars.

Lightest 31.8 flat bar with 10+ degree sweep

I have a lightweight (~150g) flat bar on my epic but the 8 degree sweep isn't enough for me to have a neutral wrist position, so I'm looking for something at least as light to replace it with. 31.8mm clamp diameter, with 10+degree sweep, and around 660mm width. I'm not finding much, with Salsa bein ... Read More »

Flat Handlebars - Enve Sweep

So, I'm looking to get some drop on my long travel 29r and it seems a combination of slammed stem and flat handlebars is going to be the answer. Are there a good number of people that make this change on their 29er's? With the stock stem slammed and riser bars on, I get my seat and handlebars just ... Read More »
