Strengths:
Seem fairly strong- there really isn't that much engineering required for a metal bar...
Weaknesses:
Typically shoddy CODA workmanship.
Bike Setup:
XT level Cannondale with all CODA parts removed.
Bottom Line:
Bars work fine, but like most CODA components there is _something_ wrong with them. In this case it's substandard paint. My black bars faded to bronze within 2 years, and stupidly enough I replaced them with another set of CODA Expert bars after being reassured by a salesguy that Cannonondale fixed the problem. Lo and behold, the second pair faded within a couple of years.
No big problem, it's just irritating to have something so obviously substandard on my bike. I'm going to replace them with Easton bars.

Strengths:
This bar is relatively light, it says 220 grams on the next to the cannondale lazer etched logo. That other dude that said it was lighter than the CT2 carbon by Easton is mistaken, unless he is speaking of a different bar. The CT2 actually weighs 125 (127 according to my shop). that 95 grams seems to not make a huge difference, but maybe I will have an easier time wheelie-ing with the fractionally lighter front end. This bar is weighs a little less on my mind however, in that it is made of good old butted 6061 T6 and not that finicky carbon shnack. I was so taken with the looks of a CT2/EC70/EC90 on a friend of mine's bike that I opted to replace this handlebar, and that is pretty much the only reason. Weight savings are minimal in my opinion.
Weaknesses:
Few. Markedly heavier, though not by much. Keep the bar lubed beneath the stem clamp to keep it from clicking (a common problem when the installer doesn't know what they are doing and leaves the grease off). The tapered ends on my bar always sheared straight through my end caps, but oh well, they're stupid little end caps.

Bottom Line:
works fine, can't get one unless it is spec'd on your c'dale. If you are looking to save weight, look elsewhere. Perhaps the suckey rims that come stock on many c'dales or that heavy fatty fork.

The is extremely light. It came with my Jekyll 600SL, 2000. It is tough and hard to scratch. Tried putting in a Yeti riser, but this is lighter. I would buy it even if it didn't come with my bike. Even lighter than the Easton EA70 and Easton CT2 (carbon).

Jekyll 600 SL, XTR coponenents(upgraded from original coponents) avid mag levers and breaks. Fox Float Rc w/lockout rear shock and Ultra Fatty DL front shock. I likes the color of the 600 so i just upgraded it to a 3000SL
Bottom Line:
This is a phat product. Especially when lightness matters.
