Product Description

Our Answer ProTAPER 780 Carbon Bar is weight competitive but also purposely overbuilt and optimized for maximum steering precision and durability. With this stiff, wide bar, the front wheel goes where you put it and stays there.

Strengths:    Thick carbon, even at the edges. This bar should take some abuse (already taken it to the ski resort and ran it through the ringer). Low-rise is perfect for adding some sweep and angle without increasing stack height much.

Weaknesses:    Could use a degree or two more of sweep.

Bottom Line:
Good bar. Quality control seems good based on the edges of the bar and thickness of the carbon. Not afraid to go big on it. Not the lightest carbon bar out there, as it's something like 70g heavier than my other carbon bar that's the same size, but in this case I think it's weight well spent.

I am currently running a KORE 800mm aluminum OCD bar with a 20mm rise and am considering a 780 Niner RDO fla ... Read More »

Wide AM Carbon Bar fans: Answer 780

Currently running a 25mm spacer under my stem which looks goofy. Could get more rise and run less spacer this way. Me like. [url=htt ... Read More »
