Bottom Line: Too thick for me, I like thiner grips. The grips overall are decent just not for me or any other rider who does not like holding onto monster sized grips.

Strengths: An upgraded set of grips to replace the stock GT grips on my 1996 GT Ricochet & stock Bontrager Ergo grips on my 2001 Trek Fuel 90 Dsik. Soft compound for comfort and cushioning.Weaknesses: Rotates on handlebar a little to easily.Bottom Line: A very good soft compound grip with cushioning that lasts for years. A reasonable price with four colours to choose from (clear, yellow, red or black). I have these on both of my bikes in the black colour. If you want, you can check out my reviews for "D'Ornellas Bike Shop" & "Pedal Perfomance" in the Bike Shop reviews section of this website (Bike Shop Reviews/Ontario/store name).
Bottom Line: The best grips that I've used to date. Even better then the Bontrager Ergo's that came stock on my 2001 Trek Fuel 90 Dsik.

$15.00

Strengths: these are good grips, soft and tacky, and small enough to feel the barsBottom Line: Ignore all the reviews of people not using gloves. If you actually ride on dirt you should always wear gloves. The people that don't tell me two things 1. they are stupid and do not possess the IQ necessary to submit an accurate review, or 2. they don't actually ride on anything that is difficult. These grips are good and will wear out. Bike stuff does not last forever. If you want something to last forever take up chess.

Strengths: -really good grip (what more could you ask for)Weaknesses: none yetBottom Line: These grips are really tacky, soft, and grippy. They are the best I have ever used. I few people mentioned that they wear quickly, but I have had mine for two years and I ride just about every day, so they have held up great. Its time now to replace them, but I am going to get them again. Its a good all around grip.

Strengths: Durable, great grippiness good looksWeaknesses: some people say the act like meat tenderizer on the handsBottom Line: I've had these grips on all of my MTB's for the past 6 years. They rock. Nice and think for a little vibration dampening. Excelent grip even when wet and muddy. And occastionally you can find them in various colors for a little flair. Plus they last forever, I just realized I've had a pair on my XC bike for the past 4 years and after a little cleaning with Simple Green they're as good as new. Look in the bargan bin or dark back corner of your shop and you'll find a pair, a good deal.

Strengths: These grips are really nice. I have had these for about a month now and I really like them. The grips a very comfortable and grippy almost tacky and are a nice improvement over my stock grips, they also look cool with the large YETI logo.Weaknesses: I can a slight bit of wear around the edges but nothing to get worried about. Also some of the color ( I have the red ones) will turn light black from your gloves after some miles on them. I have found that when you wash and clean you bike, a wet lightly soapy rag will clean this off quite nicely.Bottom Line: I bought these grips without hearing much about them. They immediately felt much nicer than the stock ones I had. If these wear out quicker than those I don't really care, they feel much better and a $12 a pair I guess I will be helping out my local shop

Strengths: Its really soft, i am never hurt at the wrist area,I love the feel of them when im out free riding without my glovesWeaknesses: mine are yellow so they tend to get black with my black gloves, priceBottom Line: There the best for any kind of riding.
You dont nessecary need gloves because it is so comfy.
They tend to get a little used up and i am going to replace them soon even though i just got them at the end of last summer and here in Canada we cant really ride in the winter.
The price is a bit too high though.

Strengths:
Cool looking, very comfortable with or without gloves and sticks to gloves without leaving rubber residue.Weaknesses:
A little hard to get on at first. Just use PLENTY of alcohol!! Then when it dries, these babies are on for good!Bottom Line: I do quite a bit of road biking also, and these grips are great either in the woods or out on the asphalt!! Very comfortable on rough terrain yet great for the long road hauls! Without a doubt they are worth every penny (not that they cost a lot anyway!). Definately 5 flaming peppers!!!
