Strengths:
Good shape: ergonomic position & wider than most. No painfully fat Alloy ring clamp like ODIs. Uses two allen keys to attach instead of one.
Weaknesses:
a bit thin in spots (not a problem for me -- I like 'em that way.) Plastic clamp can interfere with rapidfire downshifting button.
Similar Products Used:
odi yeti lockons, lizard lockons, ourys etc.
Bike Setup:
faster than most
Bottom Line:
This is a great grip if you can get the position lined up so that the clamps don't interfere with shifting (SSers, this one's perfect for you!) They're nice and long across the bar, and their molded really well. They're not the softest grips, but the shape makes up for this fact. The clamps are nice and small, so if you ride with your hands near the ends of the bar like me, you won't suffer from having that alloy ring under the outside of your palm.
