Submitted by Chris a Cross Country Rider from New Zealand
Date Reviewed: October 9, 2004
Favorite Trail:Any
Duration Product Used:6 months
Price Paid: $10.00
Strengths:They fit on nice, don't rotate and look good.
Weaknesses:They are very hard on your hands if you dont wear gloves. I used them for two hours and got massive blisters.
Bike Setup:Fully rigid xc single speed.
Bottom Line:Don't bother, they arent that good grips .... and the whole blisters thing from a two hour ride was disapointing. My other bike has cheaper grips, but they don't cause blisters.

Submitted by Waldo a Weekend Warrior from Arlington, VA
Date Reviewed: February 8, 2002
Favorite Trail:Fountainhead/Occouquan, VA
Duration Product Used:6 months
Price Paid: $13.00
Purchased At:Papillion Cycles
Strengths:Soft but firm, stays put on bar. Looks pretty decent.
Weaknesses:Cramps hands big time! Not good at all for riders w/ medium-small glove size -mucho hand pain! Grips wear pretty fast, especially if they get wet.
Similar Products Used:GT-dual density grips -decent. Profile design -decent but wears way too fast. Salsa peppers - AWESOME! very nice!
Bike Setup:K2 Brass Monkey w/ X-Vert. Rhynolites, Tioga 2.3s. Hellbent Riser - a GOOD Titec product!
Bottom Line:Don't buy these grips! There are much better grips out there for less or the same dinero! Only get these grips if you need something very fast and you find them on sale between $0-4 bucks!
