Favorite Trail:Maribor
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Strengths:Nice looks, more durable bar ends than odi
Weaknesses:Delicate grips, easy to rip, the locks were supposedly compatible with carbon bars yet after a very light and slow speed fall they managed to rip a hole in my monkey lite DH bars!!! Used it for over 1 year and no problems even after heavy bails with odi grips.
Similar Products Used:Different Odi models, Some BBB
Bike Setup:Lapierre Dh-230, 888rc2x, Easton Monkey lite dh
Bottom Line:If you use aluminium bars they are quite good as they shouldn't injure your bars but bear in mind the grips themselves are not as durable as odi.

Date Reviewed: May 4, 2008
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $25.00
Purchased At:sixsixone.com(Sunline)
Strengths:Great lock on the handle bar. cool color and great grip.
Weaknesses:somewhat difficult to install but not too hard, kind of hard to keep the white color clean
Similar Products Used:n/a
Bottom Line:This was the first pair of lock-on grips that i've owned and they work awesome. I used my sixsixone sponsorship to get these at a discounted price, i would recommend trying to get them discounted. I had a little trouble at first figuring out how the system worked but it is very simple. I got them in white and have been trying to keep them clean ever since. They work great for xc, that is if your not concerned with weight.
