Strengths: great comfort and confident gripWeaknesses: a little iffy on the locking mech.Bottom Line: Used carbon paste but still had to torque more than I wanted to keep from spinning on the carbon bars - think it has to do with the lock method. End cap set screw cracked the plastic base of the grip in a crash - not a surprise as the bars got replaced too. Have tried the Spec. XC grips but they're a little skinny - reordering the Sunlines tonight. Have the same grips on my Stumpjumper alum bars and wouldn't ride anything else. Hands never slip or move and perfect diameter for me. Very happy with the grips even if the lock method isn't my favorite. Have worked well in a variety of weather and riding conditions and with 661's Raji gloves they hold like velcro.
