Strengths: super light(i replaced the two m6 steel bolts with ti to shave a few more grams), strong, adjustable, very comfortable, hi quality materials and manufacturing. built in bar ends are also built in grip locksWeaknesses: the bar ends could be a bit longer and thicker for a better grip though i'm planning on roadbar wrapping them soon. the grips themselves could use a bit larger surface texture or lugs for a bit more grip and cushion when things get extreme, though honestly i've yet to lose grip as they are.Bottom Line: my favorite grips yet, much more support than round grips for all day comfort and control. buy em' if you can find em'
Favorite Trail: duthie
Duration Product Used: 3 months
Price Paid:
$35.00
Purchased At: used @ebay
Similar Products Used: the only other flared grip with palm support ive used was specialized body geometry and though similar in feel, had no lockring to keep from twisting up. lots of other 'regular' bmx/mtb grips, i always favored the old school yeti logo grips
Bike Setup: carver killer b(650b) titanium, dean ti bars, ti stem, I9 cc wheels, lots of nice ti bling
