Date Reviewed: August 31, 2009
Favorite Trail:rough go
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $55.00
Purchased At:Amazon.com
Strengths:Very comfortable, and supportive can ride for much longer. Very cool looking and relatively light. Great concept, integrated grip and bar end.
Weaknesses:Just put them on my bike. Went for one ride around the block and had one of the grips slip and fail. Was not able to get it to stay securely on the bars, it would just rotate no matter how securely i tightened it. I don't know if it is a faulty design or mfg. flaw. I have another ergon type with steel short bar ends and have had no problem at all with them. I hope they can work the bugs out because I certainly want to give them another choice.
Similar Products Used:Ergon GC-2.
Bike Setup:St. Cruz Heckler, Formula K24 hydraulic disks, xt components, Marzocchi world cup forks.
Bottom Line:Hopefully this was just a faulty grip because the design/comfort is outstanding.
