Date Reviewed: November 7, 2000
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $7.00
Purchased At:LBS
Strengths:They are great for smaller hands.
Weaknesses:They are too hard after a while and can be hard to grip when wet.
Similar Products Used:Adura stock grips, CODA Stock grips (Weave Pattern)
Bottom Line:These looked the best grips to me at the time I was browsing the stores. Back then I didn't know why you'd want raised pattern grips but now I do.

I was riding in light rain and when these grips got wet I twisted my wrist a little trying to hold on to them. Also they feel really hard compared to others. Now I have CODA stock grips with a weave pattern and they seem ok for my smaller hands. I'd have liked Oury's but they are a bit too chunky for me at this stage.

Grips are cheap so buy em, try em, trash em. : )

Good value, but not great for MTB'ing really, unless you like dry weather street riding I guess.

Favorite Trail:Algonquin...
Duration Product Used:3 months
Strengths:Light for a rubber grip, great fit, grips the bar so well I'll have to cut it off, NO SLIPPAGE WHATSOEVER
Weaknesses:None, as long as you wear padded gloves... I recommend OGC
Similar Products Used:GT, Profile
Bike Setup:GT Palomar HT, Scott Hot Rod Handlebar, Titec Post and Seat, Syncros Ti Q/Rs, LX/XT, Club Roost Grips
Bottom Line:I bought these grips on sale for $5.99CDN (about $3 American). They are pretty hard, but that gives a little better steering precision. They fit my hand well, and are a great length. I used extra-hold hair spray to put them on, and now they don't slip at all. If I ever want to take them off, I'll have to cut them off.... But for 5.99, I don't care. Buy these grips, you can't go wrong with them. As long as you use Rapidfire.
