Bottom Line: Please do not confuse our company with the German company that produces the bicycle handgrips. Our company is BIOGRIP, INC. and we produce the e3 fitness grip, which is a hand orthotic, designed to improve the user's biomechanics. We have received favorable reviews in Runner's World (Aug. 99) and other magazines around the world, a yera ago the e3 grips were one of the products of the year in Men's Journal (Jan 2000). Our web address is "BIOGRIP.com". We have no relationships with the german company and would appreciate if a notice could be posted stating such.

Strengths: Good dampening; no more numb fingersWeaknesses: You have to get used to them. Some riders' hands are obviously too small.
A harder to control on downhillsBottom Line: If experience numb fingers, try these. But have a test ride first, because they just might not fit your hands.
I 'd rather have a little less control on bumpy downhills than don't feel my fingers any more after 1.5 hours of riding.

sections, heavy, expensiveBottom Line: These grips are produced in germany. They are developed to reduce stress and pain in hands, ellbows, and shoulders. The outer sides oft this big grips are very thick, this causes the hands to stay in a biomechanical position.
After trying a lot of grips in the last 9 years I finally bought this ones for 50 DM (about 30$).They write in the instructions:
These grips are orthopadical devices you have to get used to them. (Don't know if this is the correct translation...)So I have ridden this egg-grips for about 800 miles and finally thrown them away:At first the damping is great. You sit more upright because of the tennis-balls under your hands. It is nice to drive.
BUT:
If you go riding on trails, downhills on do racing this are not the right grips for you.
At first it is easier to catch an anaconda than hold a handlebar with this grips on a downhill. Second the form of the grips concentrates the pressure on the thumbmuscle. This caused a pain in this parts which remained some days after each longer ride. Third if you want to ride this grip with handshoes you must have hands like King Kong, because even the smaller race version is simply too big.My conclusion:
This is not a grip for Mountainbikers.
