Strengths:    Looks - got the clear grips
Soft, grippy, light

Weaknesses:    None yet

Bottom Line:
Very nice grips available at a few different online retailers. I read about these from another MTBR review on handlebars. The little rubber nubs look simple but work far better than flashier designs (why designs on grips anyways?). If your bike has stock grips, these make an immediate change in both looks and performance. Highly recommended.

which wheel size to choose? 700A/642mm ISO, or 650A/597mm ISO?

I'm just trying to stay ahead of the curve and since we already have, 26"/559mm ISO 27.5"/584mm ISO 29"/622mm ISO It seemed like it was time to try and get ahead of next year's big new wheel size. 700A will get you a monster wheel 22mm bigger than a 29er, the roll over should be fantastic ... I am looking for a quality chain tensioner that is not sprung (Surly Singleator and most others are sprung) and only attaches to the derailleur hanger, not the rear wheel axle. Know of any? Thx. (btw, I have one designed but don't have a CNC machine...)Read More »
