Date Reviewed: May 29, 2003

Strengths:    Black ones look good on my black bars

Weaknesses:    Tend to twist on the ends

Bottom Line:
They're a relatively thin grip that take a long time (weeks) to settle on the handlebar -- kept twisting on the end. For the $$ I think you can get a better grip.

Submitted by Peter a Cross Country Rider from Philadelphia, PA, USA

Date Reviewed: August 8, 2001

Strengths:    Cool red color

Weaknesses:    I installed these without bar-ends and I think the problem is that they don't taper at all, unlike most bars. So the ends keep coming loose. I finally put them on a commuter bike that doesn't get hard use (so they don't twist) and they work fine

Bottom Line:
There are a lot better grips out there. I bought these for fashion only (the red matched a few components on my race bike) but they never really worked out for me.
