A great product that is definetly worth your time and money. As long as you don't fall much, or swipe trees etc on downhill runs, they are very durable and have a great finish. I get lots of compliments on them all the time. Also, easy to adjust which is always a bonus.

Light weight, Holds bar firmly, Good price, Fits my hand well.

The plug that fits into the end of the handlebar had to be cut to fit a smaller diameter handlebar.

A good product that did it's job well while I used it. I since then got a 2001 Trek Fuel 90 Disk and ride it on city streets, sidewalks and waterfront bikepaths and have little need for bar ends.
Bottom Line: While I needed them, they were great!

Pretty tough, decent length, not expensive, easy to fit, reasonably grippy

Black version scratches and chips easily - some riders may feel that their hands are too far away from their brake levers. If so buy "stubby" bars.

At this price you can justify them just to scratch up when you lean your bike against a wall. Also they are good for absorbing the impact of a fall when you can't get your shoes out of your pedals in time. Best of all they give your hands a better position for climbing up them thar hills. Wrap tape around them if you don't like gloves as they are freezin to touch in winter.

Lightweight, easy to install and adjust. Very comfortable to use, gives you great grip when pounding up a hill.

A little large. I would like to try a smaller bar end to see how much I like it.

Cool looking design. I have the silver ones. I've read that the black ones scratch easily (if your worried about that). If you are looking for something a little big, but comfortable, these are great. But if you want something that minimizes weight, I would go smaller.

These barends work well. I see no need to spend more money and get an expensive set. They help protect your hands from branches, etc... and allow you to rest your back and sit up straight when you want to.

Fit great, nicely textured, no need for tape, IMHO. Great size, easy to install with narrow footprint. They are tough; took many massive falls without damage. For the price, you cannot go wrong. Big 5 flamin' peppers from me.

They are: Light, Cheap and do there job well. Good for a long climb up a steep hill. Long enough to give you extra levarage whin you nee it.

I purchased the back ones and it you breath on em wrong they scratch. I also recently converted to an Easton EA 70 Handlebar and they will give you a little flex on a lighter bar. As stated by other reviewers when it's cold so are they get ready for a shock either wear long finger gloves or use lizardskins.

Hey the're bar ends they either do what they are suppose to do or ya ditch em and get new ones it's not like buying that brand new SUV you want or something.

Seriously these are decent a little lite for barends and I'm a little worried now about them screwing up my new easton bar. They are too easy to scratch though my idea about a Mt. Bike part is this you should build it with the idea that it's gonna get thrashed. If I wanted silver bar ends I would have bought in silver. Also they are cold to the touch put some Lizardskins or tape on em Or use long finger gloves I use both.

I don't think I'm gonna buy these again though not that I think they suck they do there job but with the new Easton bars on I think I'll try the Cane Creek ones next maybe they will be better with the barflex problem that happens when I hold them too high and am Hammering like crazy.
