From the moment you lay your hands on these you will realize what you have been missing. The Ergo shape of the VX bar ends are designed to be the most comfortable. The ergo shape teamed up w/ lightweight carbon makes for an easy upgrade. 90mm long, 79g.

Strengths:
Very light for a real bar end, and they look good.
Weaknesses:
As mentioned previously, the finish is slick, necessitating use of hockey tape or Herculiner, which obviates some of the weight savings. They're also not too stout, despite appearances. Mine snapped.
Similar Products Used:
Profile Designs O/S ends (much heavier than advertised, but comfy and durable).
Bike Setup:
Mounted to Titec Hellbent Flat-tracker w/ aluminum BERTs.
Bottom Line:
If you occasionally crash, these are not for you. My 3rd ride out, I took a slow-speed endo on a night ride and broke the bar end off at the base. I may look into the warranty, but I don't expect much. Maybe good for race day?

Strengths:
feel great, lightweight, just right in size.
Weaknesses:
mine broke on the first mild lay down of my bike. I was disappointed they broke so easily so am going to pursue manufacturer's backup of their product.
Similar Products Used:
typical aluminum bar ends. The sette's were way more comfortable.
Bike Setup:
Titus Switchblade set up for all mountain riding.
Bottom Line:
Great until they break. May have durability problem.

Strengths:
Nice comfy shape and light weight
Weaknesses:
glossy finish is slippery when wet
Similar Products Used:
Various carbon and aluminum bar ends
Bike Setup:
Titus RacerX/Manitou Skareb Super/SRAM 9.0 drivetrain
Bottom Line:
These are comfortable and light, but they'd be better with a matte finish that wasn't so slick. The glossy finish sure is pretty, but it makes them hard to hold onto when they're wet, even with gloves. I'm tempted to rough them up with sandpaper, but that would probably weaken them. I'm still using them, but need to grip real tight in damp conditions.
