I recently saw a pair on eBay go for more than twice what I paid for them. I've had mine since I bought my Paramount new. I have the silver oones an they are little scuffed up but they still hold fast and look great. I'm going to put some bar tape on them to cushion them a bit and see how that works out.
If you find a pair for sale - BUY THEM. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$20.00 | | Purchased At: | LBS | | Strengths: | STRONG, comfortable, awesome clamp, good protection | | Weaknesses: | No longer made | | Similar Products Used: | you name it! been there done that. | | Bottom Line: | These really are the best bar ends ever. I agree with other reviewers - these things will protect your digits and will take the punishment so you dont have to. Super comfortable and did i mention Strong. Your bars will bend before these will - mine did. The weight is reasonable. I've had mine for 12 years and the only problem is deciding which bike to keep them on. I need to find another pair or three.
One thing I did (that improved the already awesome feel) was cut some GT aerobar rubber grips to fit these bars back in the day. That really improved grip, reduced vibration and satisfied those who like a fatter bar end. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

Recently stripped my old bike from 1992 down and found the L-shape ends, black and well scratched. Put on new bike and remembered how great they are for climbing. Great for change in hand position on flats for speed. Protect ya hands from branches on narrow tracks! (plus you can lean ya bike against a wall or on the floor without worrying about damage)

$15.00 | | Purchased At: | Temple City Bike Shop | | Strengths: | BOMBPROOF! After a spectacular crash in a race I was inspired to write about these bar ends. I have used these for over 10 years on 4 different bikes. After numerous crashes, dumps, bumps and scrapes they are still rock solid even after I have busted 2 handlebars with them attached. These things have either come off securely attached to the handlebar fragment or been wrenched off from the impact completely intact while I limp away. They are scraped up quite a bit and the black anodized paint is worn away to expose a nice shiny aluminum finish but I can say hands down these are the best bar ends ever. The End | | Weaknesses: | NONE | | Similar Products Used: | Profiles, Zoom, Cane Creek | | Bike Setup: | 2002 Kona Caldera All Stock Except for: Panaracer Fire XC Pros Time Atac Pedals Ritchey Flat Bars Onza Barends | | Bottom Line: | If you can find them buy them. They provide many hand positions to relieve strain, provide huge amounts of leverage for climbing, will not move unless they are torn off, are bombproof, lightweight which is a plus for racing, and the "L" shape provides good protection from branches, rocks, small trees etc.

$20.00 | | Purchased At: | cape able | | Strengths: | they look awesome, very durable, they dont budge. | | Weaknesses: | none | | Bike Setup: | '94 haro extreme mtb | | Bottom Line: | I used to be a huge mountain biking enthusiast when i was younger, but haven't biked in 10 years. I recently visited my parents at home and found my old bike in the garage and decided to take it with me so I can once again get exercise through something I love doing. I've made it a hobby to refurbished my bike and in doing so I am falling in love with the sport all over again. From reading the posts below about how these Onza bar-ends have been discontinued I feel extremely lucky to still have the ones on I purchased over 10 yrs ago on my bike. They didnt rust (unlike my chain and some other components) and they are gripping my handle bar just as strong as day one. Performance wise they are phenominal, they protected my hands and speedometer from breakage in some rough crashes and makes me feel like i'm going faster when cruising at 25mph+ speeds. lol | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$25.00 | | Purchased At: | LBS | | Strengths: | They set the standard. They worked great and looked really cool back in the day. They were tough as nails, many a time I went down and these things saved the shifters and brake levers. | | Weaknesses: | None/nothing.............they stopped making them. | | Similar Products Used: | Profile and generic brands | | Bike Setup: | 2 full suspensions and 2 hardtails | | Bottom Line: | These things were great. I bought mine back in the day and they saw usage on more than one bike. They worked like bar ends were supposed to. They provided additional hand placement and leverage when you needed it. I lost mine while tearing a bike down to replace the frame. I put em in a box and I believe they were discarded by accident. I searched high and low for those things. I replaced them with some Profile's and though these are good bar ends they do not compare to the Onza's. I eventually stopped using bar ends because I could not find anything comparable to the Onza bar end. They were a great product back in the day and for us XC'ers they would probably still sell pretty well today if they still made em. If you are a cross country rider and can find these nab em, you won't regret it. They were made like bike parts oughta be, simple, thought out and well made. They actually did what they were designed to do. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

I have never even crimped a bar with them. They have taken direct impacts into trees, concrete, bricks, fences, pedestrians (sorry). I have given these more abuse than any other bike part I have ever owned, and I have broken a lot of bike parts (including handlebars). They continue to live to tell the tale. It turns out that drain cleaner takes the color right off, so now they're silver, with a white onZa logo. Spiffy. They've survived many crashes with no signs of damage, and fit my hands real well. But, I just got a rise-bar to ease the pain on my wrists, so I guess they'll be headed to the parts-box. Nice, inexpensive, durable. | Overall Rating: |

What can you say about bar ends? You use 'em for climbing and blocking your hands from trees. That or gaining some kind of status while in the pit area at a race or impressing the girls. All I can say is I have a lot of scratches on mine and the paint is worn where my hands rest on them. They're still working after removing them several times to change other components on my bars. I guess since the Onza stickers are now unreadable only the hardcore product gurus will know what brand I have, but what the heck, the only upgrade I can think I might need is a pair of carbon-fiber bar ends. And that ain't happening 'til these wear out or I have enough extra money to wipe my anus with but decide that traditional toilet paper is softer. Five chili's here!!! | Overall Rating: |

I've been riding my CWA barends for over 2 years, and they are the best barends I have ever used. I have used the Raws on another bike for about 6 months; although not as good as the CWA, these are better than most of the barends out there. The thing is that barends are kind of a personal matter, like grips or saddles, so different people will like different things; however, I fully endorse these. | Overall Rating: |

I've had these bar ends for about five months now and i think that they have a good shape and are comfortale to use. the only problem is that I got the black ones which scratch very easily but this can be fixed quite easily with a permenant marker, other than that there great an are very light too.

ergonomical, light, nice graphic, cool black finish, fit my hand, palm, thumb and stay in my grip. super comfy, too! Compared to my old Fisher's, which were two peices welded together into a sharp angle, these barends produce less hand fatigue. They weigh less, too. I don't know if you can use the bar-end shifter on them, but I'm just rambling on so I have at least fifty words. The Onza is a previously undiscovered type of very large mountain lion, really! | Overall Rating: |

I'm talking about the new, smaller Pro Cut model here and the only other bar ends I can compare them to are the Systems 3 (whatever the hell that means) that came stock on my '96 TREK 8500. Great bike (especially the Easton EA 70 bonded frame) but the stock bar ends are a LONG curved shape and if you grab them at the ends on a climb, there is so much flex that it is difficult to control the front wheel. The Pro Cut however have a much better design or shape. They just fit my hands perfectly - very comfortable. No complaints. | Overall Rating: |

I have an original set of Onza's from before they went out of buisness (and then came back). I have had zero problems. On a couple hard crashes, the end-caps have come out--big deal. The lettering has long since worn away but you can still tell they're Onza's by the logo on plastic pieces. A classic.......and the one that really got the ball rolling | Overall Rating: |

Boy, This company sure sucked at clipless pedals and tires, but they made the best darn bar-ends I have ever tried. I have had my RAW-110's now for a couple years and would not get rid of them. They are real light, fit the hand well, and look good. Survived one nasty crash with just a little scratch on one of them. If you are looking for these things, Performance mail order still sells them for about 20 bucks!

Got them on my older bike. Great ends that survived crashes. Min space taken up by the clamp and the grip feels good. L bend helps to protect my hands. The straight portion attaches to the clamp a bit bulged out so that they don't intrude into the handlebar space. This is a good feature as then your handlebar seems wider than most bar ends that take up the space. | Overall Rating: |

The Onza 110 bar ends are just awesome. I've tried many and none of them ever felt comfortable or natural. In fact, unlike other bar ends, these seem to work around your hands instead of your hands working around them. They just fit comfortably in your hands. They're also very light too! The only other bar ends that I know even comes close, in fact even better are the Trek OCLV bar ends. But those are very expensive. I have big hands, so for me they're a little on the thin side, also your hands tend to slip when you get sweaty. They have also made available several different models of their bar end because people have different tastes, which is also nice. 7 letters to desribe them the best: A-W-E-S-O-M-E!!! They are really light weight and very heavy duty. The narrow clamp (15mm) is excellent, as it doesn't rob you of valuable handlebar-width and gives them a mega-slick look. If you want comfort and great looks, I can only recommend these barends! Besides black and polished, they're also available in cool colours like anodized red and blue, and in Judy-yellow. Best of all, they are totally crash-proof (err...I'm talking from experience). I give OnZa a coolness factor of 5! | Overall Rating: |
