Strengths: Feels like its a part of my hand. Allows you to feel everthing (even bumnps, but tape/grips handle that).
Easy install w/ non-galling screws.Weaknesses: A little heavy and long, so ungainly. The end is tighter that other ends, making it hard to plug.Bottom Line: Get then if you think you will actually ride with your hands on 'em and you dont trust carbon fiber. If you're on a budget or hate carbon fiber, this is the best aluminum one you can find.

Strengths: These have a good design, are strong and light. Easy to grip. I got a good deal on them on EBay.Weaknesses: On tight single track, they'll catch trees and flip you over. (this happens with all bar ends)I'm not switching them onto my new Trek custom 8500.Bottom Line: Some of the best bar ends out there, if you like bar ends.

Strengths: Lighter then any other bar end i've used, nice and strong too. Cool grippy coat paint type stuff on them aswell so you have some grip on them when your on the grunt climbs.Weaknesses: none, best bar ends ever.Bottom Line: these are sweet. i have the race light ski magnesium model and i couldn't be happier. help out on climbs a lot and have given me another hand position on some longer rides.

Strengths: Nice feel, and lightweight (magnesium).Weaknesses: They were a little expensive...but light weight and feel was worth it.Bottom Line: This is about the only thing Bontrager makes that I like or would buy. Simply haven't ever found any other bar ends I have liked. A little expensive.....but great other than that.

Strengths: Great bar ends.Weaknesses: None.Bottom Line: I have two sets:
- Race: came stock on my Bontrager
- Race Lite: bought for $10 at LBS clearing out stock
These bar ends are perfect. The ski bend shape hits my hand perfectly. They're light. They're strong. They're cheap. They're painted black. They're easy to grip.
What can you say bad about them? Nothing. Wish a had a few extra sets to have just in case.

Strengths: light and strong. textured surface provides good grip (when clean)Weaknesses: Remember that nice textured surface, well it has a tendency of collecting dirt.Bottom Line: What more could you possibly want? These are light, comfortable and seem to be pretty durable. They are the perfect length for my. Why pay $80 for carbon just to shave a gram?

Strengths: Lightweight, decent looks.Weaknesses: NoneBottom Line: Very nice product. claimed weight of 110 grams is actually 120 on my scale. I hate that. Never stip on specialized bars. Will try on Easton CT2 next month and will let you know if there is a problem.

Strengths: Lightweight, strong, inexpensiveWeaknesses: Textured surface tends to collect dirt.Bottom Line: Usually you can only get 2 out of three when you buy something; either light, strong, or inexpensive. These bar-ends break all the rules. I usually don't place reviews until I've really given a product time to prove itself but for these I had to when I recently stuck them hard into the ground on a rocky endo crash and the only damage suffered was a little scrape on the ends. I couldn't wait to get the word out on how good these bar-ends are. I figured they would have spun out of adjustment on my Bontrager handlebar but they stayed put. Buy them!

Strengths: Light, compact, strong.Weaknesses: It won't make my breakfast.Bottom Line: I am not a fan of bar ends. In fact, I was resistant to put these on, but I did so because I need the extra leverage during long climbs. They look a little funny on a riser bar, but who cares, they work very very well. I am using the Race Lites and have mediums size hands; they might be too small for people with larger hands.

Strengths: Wonderful grip, lightweight, magnesium!Weaknesses: The bonding material which holds the magnesium bar end tube to the handlebar clamp failed on one bar end.Bottom Line: Great bar ends for the money, lightweight, not aluminum, wonderful grip, however these failed on me. I was going to replace these with the same, but I purchased the last remaining set from the shop. Looks like this has not happened before, based on other reviews.

Strengths: Light (Magnesium)
Strong, narrow clamp
Ergonomic designWeaknesses: noneBottom Line: Can't beat these. Strength of clamp, light weight and shape is perfect. If you're hands are large, find the straight bar-ends; the ski-bend might be a bit short. The finish provides grip even when wet. Supergo still had these ($15.00) as of 9/17/00 - get them if you want ends and don't mind black as you only color choice.
