Strength:

Feels like its a part of my hand. Allows you to feel everthing (even bumnps, but tape/grips handle that).
Easy install w/ non-galling screws.

Weakness:

A little heavy and long, so ungainly. The end is tighter that other ends, making it hard to plug.

Get then if you think you will actually ride with your hands on 'em and you dont trust carbon fiber. If you're on a budget or hate carbon fiber, this is the best aluminum one you can find.

Strength:

These have a good design, are strong and light. Easy to grip. I got a good deal on them on EBay.

Weakness:

On tight single track, they'll catch trees and flip you over. (this happens with all bar ends)I'm not switching them onto my new Trek custom 8500.

Some of the best bar ends out there, if you like bar ends.

Strength:

Nice feel, and lightweight (magnesium).

Weakness:

They were a little expensive...but light weight and feel was worth it.

This is about the only thing Bontrager makes that I like or would buy. Simply haven't ever found any other bar ends I have liked. A little expensive.....but great other than that.

i have the race lites now. just destroyed my favorite race ends. they actually saved my face, my shifters, my brakes, and my cat eye computer. i did a bad endo and my ski bend races hit the pavement. well, shortly after my chin did. i hit chin first, then my bar ends did. i am quite impressed with these things though. very tough. i hit hard and there was a bend in the clamp on the right one. left one was only scratched and my bar was totalled. so i went and bought the race lites! i only wish my chin were as tough as these bar ends!

These are nice bar ends. They have held up through a few good spills, they are light, and are shaped perfectly for my hand when climbing.

Strength:

light and strong. textured surface provides good grip (when clean)

Weakness:

Remember that nice textured surface, well it has a tendency of collecting dirt.

What more could you possibly want? These are light, comfortable and seem to be pretty durable. They are the perfect length for my. Why pay $80 for carbon just to shave a gram?

Lightweight, decent looks.

Very nice product. claimed weight of 110 grams is actually 120 on my scale. I hate that. Never stip on specialized bars. Will try on Easton CT2 next month and will let you know if there is a problem.

Strength:

Lightweight, strong, inexpensive

Weakness:

Textured surface tends to collect dirt.

Usually you can only get 2 out of three when you buy something; either light, strong, or inexpensive. These bar-ends break all the rules. I usually don't place reviews until I've really given a product time to prove itself but for these I had to when I recently stuck them hard into the ground on a rocky endo crash and the only damage suffered was a little scrape on the ends. I couldn't wait to get the word out on how good these bar-ends are. I figured they would have spun out of adjustment on my Bontrager handlebar but they stayed put. Buy them!
