Date Reviewed: September 18, 1999
Duration Product Used:
3 months
Strengths:
Looks nice
Not heavy
$15
Weaknesses:
None so far
Bottom Line:I am using the Oversize Lite model, with welded bends. These are comfortable: the angle of the bend and the large diameter fit my hands very well. They are pretty cool looking, if you don't insist upon having a big-name brand. The surface is slightly rough, which helps grip, but is easier on the hands than knurling. What else can I say? They are inexpensive, and they work.

Date Reviewed: July 12, 1999
Duration Product Used:
3 months
Strengths:
look sweet
stay on the bars
Weaknesses:
none
Bike Setup:
GT Timberline, minor upgrades
Bottom Line:Bottom line is, these things are barends. i have yet to find a set that vastly outperforms any other. i love people who spend 50 bucks on little carbon nubbies to save a gram of weight. they keep our economy going. they really do.
