Ambidextrous ‘flip flop’ design, CNC machined from a solid billet of 2014 T6 aircraft spec aluminium alloy - with a split clamp to allow easy set up and choice of positioning. The master cylinder assembly is completed with our durable anodised finish to withstand weather, cleaning and general trail use and a choice of either hi tensile polyester reinforced or Goodridge stainless steel braided hose to give a sharp, solid feel to the system.

Duration Product Used:
Less than 1 month
Strengths:
Very well manufactured. Engineered to high standard.
Weaknesses:
Cannot be set up easily. Will not work will Shimano xt 760 shifters (Hope have designed only for 770 but do not tell you that). The reservoir is very bulky - which is the route of the problem when trying to fit certain shifters. Poor ergononic design.
Similar Products Used:
Avid elixir 5 - excellent design.
Bottom Line:
Had to have the hopes replaced by avid's due to the hand strains experienced when riding for a few hours and try to shift gears. The bulky brake design make it impossible to get a comfortable set up for the xt 760 shifters. Avoid the hope x2 at all costs.

Shiny. Long lever and master cylinder may make set up awkward.

Well engineered, reusable fittings, very easy to bleed (like a car, no special tools or connectors needed). Floating rotors are great too. Easy set up.
