Utilizing large polygonal shaped vents, the lightweight Magura Storm SL 6-bolt rotor stays cool under heavy braking. Saw tooth shaping on the outside diameter decreases brake squeal. Includes bolts.

Magura has been very busy developing, designing and testing (lab and field) their new Storm SL and Storm rotors, in conjunction with their MISSION PERFORMANCE campaign to develop the best disc brake in the world (stronger, lighter, ingenious). The Storm SL and Storm are pretty sweet rotors, and the SL version is my current favorite rotor for my Magura brakes, as its lightweight, while still retaining excellent braking characteristics. Strengths:    Stops on a dime

Weaknesses:    None

Bottom Line:   
This rotor stops on a dime. I regularly ride t a radio tower in the Joshua Tree National Park. The switchback to the top gains about 900 ft in less than two miles and the speeds down are blistering for being on the side of a mountain. Stopping with this rotor is one finger action and even with that I need to be very light as they stop so well. Much better than the old wave rotor.

Strengths:    Great Stopping power
Looks good
Sheds out debris and mud very well
Quiet operation
Appealing Price

Weaknesses:    None

Bottom Line:   
These rotors do a great job, they have a firmer feeling in the lever than other rotors I have used. They are also pretty light weight and with this design, they get rid of heat and shed out mud/debris fantastically!
