Strengths: Very lightweight, less fade, and quiet.Weaknesses: None that I have experienced.Bottom Line: These rotors are a the best upgrade to an Avid BB7 brake. The original BB7 steel rotor bolts weigh 16 grams per wheel. The titanium XX bolts weigh only 8 grams per wheel. My 140mm rear XX rotor weighs only 84 grams and the front 160mm weighs about 100 grams. This is a huge weight loss over the original rotors. The two piece system also helps stop vibration.
