Strengths: The Price and that is pretty Much itWeaknesses: Everythig But PriceBottom Line: First There is the brake pad used wich are EXTREMELY hard to ajust, tha there is the internal sprig wich loosens i 2-3 months. What actually made me change them was that one of the rear brakes actually Broke in two and i nearly killed myself. NEVER BUY anything from Vuelta (exept maybe Seats)

Strengths: Stopping power,
The don't seem affected much by rain
lightWeaknesses: buildup of black stuff on rims,
they scream when they get hotBottom Line: I ride about 130 - 150 miles a week, and doing that sort of mileage, you soon find what works well and what doesn't.
Vuelta "V" Brakes are simply the best I've ridden with. These are ideal for anyone other than loony "freeriders"
Heck they even work well in traffic on the road.
Duration Product Used: Less than 1 month
Similar Products Used: Various "V" brakes on hire bikes
Bike Setup: Claud Butler Ravana 21speed, 7005 Alu
(Shimano "V" brake levers)

Strengths:
*Price {£11.99 for complete set - Front + Rear Vs, + levers}
*Strength
*Weight
*PowerWeaknesses:
*Need careful adjustment to get the best out of them.*Plastic levers {but what do you expect or such a low price}Bottom Line: A lot better than you would expect for the price.
But make sure you upgrade the spongy levers.Good all round breaks & still work fairly well when wet/muddy.
