    Strengths:    good price

Weaknesses:    high weight (not a real disadvantage though)

    Bottom Line:
this brakeset is worth the money. good quality and inexpensive price. the thing i really like about these brakes is that they dont squeal like xt v's are infamous for. there is a little red attachment to the brake cable noodle that makes brake cable disengagement an easy task. these brakes may not have the stopping power of the xt's, but i noticed from when i mounted them that they aren't a pain to install, the setup was very easy... something that the xt brakes cant claim. they will not squeal under mud, water, blood, etc... i can slam on these brakes very hard and they still wont squeal.

4 chillies overall because they dont compare to high end systems
