Strengths: Amazing power, low maintainance, easy pad change.Weaknesses: too strong.Have to fit a booster to save your frame.Bottom Line: They are top notch. They came with the bike and are very powerfull.I had thought of investing in discs but no longer need to.Of course,I'm not a mountain biker so I don't need so much power.I bought the bike which is setup for long distance travel so I could carry loads and not worry about brake problems.I know I've made the right choice.

Strengths: Great modulation and stopping power.
Strong enough to bend a fork or frame if you don't fit boosters. fit and forgetWeaknesses: A tad heavy, reduces mud clearance.Bottom Line: These are a great set for the money, they offer great braking power and modulation. There strong enough to crush a weak rims (from manufacturers homepage). A bit porky though.
