Favorite Trail:Månen
Duration Product Used:6 months
Bottom Line:Xtremely cheap. Work well for the price.
The pads suck like nothing else.
Difficult to set, but when you have managed to do it they work well.
I would recommend them to riders with a very low budget,
but not for active XC riders.

Date Reviewed: May 12, 2000
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Strengths:CHEAP!!!
Stops the bike
Weaknesses:Lousy centering (=drag)
No parallel push
Not as powerful as the high-end stuff
Similar Products Used:Cantilevers, XT-Vs
Bike Setup:rigid mountainbike in city use
Bottom Line:They work like any other non-parallel-push-V-brake with the exception that these ones don't have that screw on the side with which it would be sooooo easy to adjust the centering. So as a result I have some constant drag. Which is not nice. If you're looking for extremely cheap brakes with V-brake power then these ones are for you. Although they're not as good as e.g. XTs I have almost endoed in a panic situation so I guess they have enough power :).

Bottom Line:
These brakes are the cheapest I've ever seen! But when I had buyed them, I was first disepointed beacouse it took two days to get them work real good. But after I did get them to work as they should they were atleast worth the price!
Overall Rating:4
