Strengths:    Cheap. Quiet. Doesn't leave much gunk on rims. Kool Stop pads fit in the holders.

Weaknesses:    Wears out fast. Chews rims.

Bottom Line:
At first these pads looked felt a dream. Dirt cheap (that's $3 for replacement pads), quiet even in rain, didn't leave black stuff on rims, pretty powerful even. Too good to be true? After a month and 400 kilometers in Helsinki's so-called winter the rear pads had worn slick. The front pads weren't completely slick but had lost most of their grip. As I replaced the pads I found that they had spontaneously reinforced themselves with pieces of aluminium from my front rim. Somehow the front rim also now has a visible grooves.

Still 2 points as the pads that came with the bike were even worse. And the pad holders are quite usable with better replacement pads.

Strengths:    its very strong when you get them the first couple of days... it doesnt leave that much gunk...doesnt squeak at all in dry conditions..good feel..

Weaknesses:    its squeaks when wet

Bottom Line:
very good pads, good strong power...the only problem if you are riding in the rain the power weakens slightly and the pads squeak high enough to wake the deaf ( over exaggerating) just be careful when u are in the rain..or any wet conditions

Strengths:    Powerful, silent when dry, don't make rims black too much

Weaknesses:    Very squeeky when wet or dirty, lose power eventually

Bottom Line:
These brake pads are very powerful when dry, and also very silent. When they're wet or dirty they tend to be very squeeky, but just rides or tap the brakes for a while and soon the noise should be gone. They don't smear too much on the rims so they still look good. After nearly 3 months/almost 500 miles of riding my bike, these pads have held up very well and have a lot of life left in them. They are also still powerful, and work great on off-road downhills. Great choice for brake pads.

Strengths:
Enough power
Good Modulation
No break-in period
Almost never wear out!
Cheap ($7 a pair)

Weaknesses:
Might not be enough power for a very heavy person, but it probably depends on how you set your brakes up, too.

Bottom Line:
So far these are awesome. I did have a hissing sound there for a while, but I'm not sure if that was the rims or the pads. Overall, they are hardly worn down at all and I have been using them for over 4 months. Very nice pads, good in wet even. Cheaper than Koolstops, Aztecs, Ritcheys, etc.

Silent!

Weaknesses:
None

Bottom Line:
After trying every possible method of preventing my XT brakes from squealing, my bike shop decided to try other pads. These were noise free. So far, they're wonderful.

Cheap,no squek sounds.

Weaknesses:
hmmmm...Not very powerfull, but neather dont eat rim like crazy!

Bottom Line:
I finally upgraded my pads,i had decided that if i would buy new pads to my currently brakes, they would have to be good.So i went to local bike shop and started asking available pads, the guy told me that he only had these 877 Tektro:s,ok i said.I went home, started install these and WOW no brake squiik sounds!!!Now i ride these pads in front and rear and definitely im going to buy these next time too if i havent bought new brakes by then!Only downgrade is i guess that these are not as powerfull as my old Lx pads, but the Lx pads eated my rim very fast.
