When they are wet they make noises and get much less braking power. They can get pretty tricky to calibrate. Weak braking performance. 2. Cuts 3/8" channels in your expensive rims. I swear, this happened to me on my old bike. 3. Screech!!! (Grind, Grind) Bikers a mile away can hear you. 4. Leaves black sh*t on your rims. 5. DANGEROUS when wet. Wear out so damn quick! No even a month.
