Bottom Line: now that I've had them going for a while, they've completely failed on me...don't waste your money. arms flex, springs die out, levers are sloppier than a pig in a trough...

Strengths: Even though they're a lil finicky to set up at first, they're wicked solid brakes. Stylin' good looks, plenty of power, and comfy blade (takes a little getting used to, but I love it now). Super smooth too, and lots of room for adjustment.Weaknesses: little bit of lever slop when I first put them on the bike. I had to grind off the cable housing routing for my disk brakes though (I dont use disk brakes), next to the brake arm, because the part that holds the pad was bumping into it. I would've designed a few things differenly on these. The plastic adjustment knob for the levers to could be upgraded, but it still does the job.Bottom Line: Awesome brakes for the money, really under advertised though (ebay is the only place I could even find mention of them on the internet..and there's only one guy selling them.)

Strengths: Beautifully made and light.Weaknesses: NoneBottom Line: Great product! Not for weight weenies, but those who appreciate quality will love them. Real bearings in all pivots, ajustable reach and tension. Available on EBay for around $40 US for levers and v-brakes at the moment. You won't find a better brake set-up. Buy it!

Strengths: Stunning and sexy and superbly made, will work with V's, Canti's and mechanical discs.Weaknesses: Nothing obvious!Bottom Line: Cheaper 'quality'levers (XTR,XT etc)probably do the job just as well, but these babies have that Umm factor that the Big S just can't manage, try them and you'll know. John Atkins Cycles (UK) STILL have them for sale - cheap!!!

Strengths: real bearings in the pivot!
excellent construction, machining, comfortable as all heck once you get used to the wide bladeWeaknesses: price for some but mine were cheap!Bottom Line: i'm not a small guy and i like my stuff overbuilt for the goof factor... all light but dependable
levers are solid enough for mild trials and the blade is wicked comfy once you get used to it,the calipers themselves are sexy and stiffer than anything i've ridden before i'd rank them above maguras easily in terms of power and modulation, dunno about running them against discs though.. LOL! see you onna streets
