Strengths: They allow for two finger braking and adjustability. Cheap to replace.Weaknesses: The Bend Zone is a structurally weak area designed to protect other equipment. However, replacing the broken handle is almost the same cost as replacing both brake lever assemblies.Bottom Line: Don't consider the Bend Zone a bonus feature, it is a design to allow the handle to fail more easily in a crash.
It is more difficult to replace than the instructions suggest.
The levers function very well when not broken. I highly reccomend this item as long as you know the Bend Zone is a scam. They gave two years of good service for $20.

Strengths: Easily adjustable, durable. solid feelWeaknesses: NoneBottom Line: Outstanding mechanical lever. Gets the job done with no fuss. Allows decent modulation. Reach is adjustable on the trail, and adjustments stay put (unlike too many other components on the market). Feels as solid as the 1st day used 'em.
Favorite Trail: The next one
